Prediction

The two sides drew 1-1 at Ewood Park earlier this season.

After starting the season of in a brilliant fashion, Hull have now slumped after posting only a single victory in their last seventeen league matches. Blackburn, on the other hand, had a great run of six matches without a loss following the appointment of Sam Allardyce as manager, after having failed to post a win in their previous eleven league matches.

Hull's home form this season has been the worst in the league so far, whilst Blackburn's away record is the better of their two. In spite of Blackburn's most recent league defeat at the hands of Manchester United, the Rovers put in an impressive performance and broke the league leader's fourteen straight Premier League match clean sheet record in the process.

As such, there is little to differentiate the two sides in this match and both will be looking to take something from the encounter in order to improve their chances of avoiding relegation at the end of the season.
