Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United will be looking forward to the derby against Manchester City, hoping his team can dent City's perfect record and send them clear of their cross-town rivals in the table.
Man United have now won four straight since their loss to Burnley on August 19 and have posted a remarkable goal difference of 11-2 during that stretch.
Their most recent victory came on Tuesday night in Turkey against Besiktas as United opened their Champions League campaign with three points. Paul Scholes scored in the 77th minute to break the deadlock and hand Man Utd a 1-0 victory.
Wayne Rooney was the lone striker to start the match for Sir Alex, but later was substituted (to the player's obvious displeasure) as Manchester United went in search of a winner.
Ferguson introduced Michael Owen and Demitar Berbatov in the 64th minute before Scholes sealed the deal 13 minutes before time.
The long travel to Turkey will be a disadvantage heading into the match against City, but Ferguson has expressed his confidence in the media ahead of the match that his players will be fresh.
Scholes, who was sent off against Tottenham, will miss the match through suspension. He will likely be replaced by Ryan Giggs.

Mark Hughes’ Manchester City side have started the season with four wins from four games and find themselves in third place, three points behind Chelsea, with a game in hand.
Their confidence will be soaring after a fantastic 4-2 victory over Arsenal on Saturday.
The Citizens took a 1-0 lead into halftime after a Manuel Almunia own goal. After the half, Arsenal poured on the pressure and got a deserved equaliser in the 62nd minute through a Robin van Persie strike.
For the next ten minutes, Arsenal had the upper hand as they pressed for a winner. But, when Craig Bellamy finished a nice move, momentum swung back in favour of Man City.
For the next ten minutes, the Citizens played amazing football. Emmanuel Adebayor netted the third to stick a sword in the side of Arsenal fans, before Shaun Wright-Phillips made it 4-1. Tomas Rosicky reduced it to 4-2 in the 88th minute, but by then the match was done and dusted.
Emmanuel Adebayor will miss the match due to a three-match violent conduct suspension picked up for his strike on Robin van Persie.
City's latest performance must surely mark them as realistic contenders to break into the top four this season. Their football has been tidy and they've been able to get results even when they haven’t been at their best.
For once, they’re not the huge underdogs they normally are heading into the derby.
Unforunately, though, Mark Hughes may face a selection headache for the Manchester Derby. Not only is Adebyoar suspended, but Robinho, Roque Santa Cruz, Carlos Tevez, and Benjani all look to miss out with injury, which means that Man City may be severly limited in their attacking options.

Manchester United won both meetings played between the clubs last season (2-0 at Old Trafford and 1-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium).
The Red Devils are favourites, as they always are at Old Trafford, but this year's City squad is much better than it has been in previous years. Plus, the midweek match could have its effects on United.
If Man City are able to field any of their key strikers who are struggling with injuries, then this match should be a very close affair.
Either way, it should be a great game!
