Prediction

Portsmouth beat Middlesbrough 2-1 at Fratton Park earlier this season, but last season's Middlesbrough vs Portsmouth match saw Boro win 2-0.

After some performances that suggested they were staging a resurgence of form - including an FA Cup win over West Ham and Premier League win over Liverpool - Middlesbrough were hammered 4-0 by Tottenham a week and a half ago.
