Rafael Nadal vs Fernando Gonzalez meetings see Nadal hold a 6-3 head-to-head record over Gonzalez, with the Chilean's last victory over Nadal taking place back in the quarter-finals of the 2007 Australian Open. The two have met twice this year, with Nadal winning both in straight sets.
